Moores have been established as a blackboard and message board manufacturer since 1977. Based near Ludham on the Norfolk broads we enjoy all the delights of living and working in a beautiful part of the country
We have been manufacturers of noctice boards for most of that time but blackboards quickly became one of our strongest selling lines which is why we have developed, and continue to develop, an increasingly comprehensive range of blackboards to suit all needs. Timber for Kitchen Blackboards

All the timber to make the  blackboards and chalkboards comes from environmentally sound forests in Europe as well as other parts of the world. Our kitchen blackboards and chalkboards are sold mainly in the UK but we also export to many other parts of the world.

As a manufacturer of message boards for many years, Moores were the first to develop the Magnetic Sudoku puzzle. In 2005, just as the craze in the UK was reaching it's peak, Moores came up with the idea of making a small version of a magnetic dry wipe board with the puzzle grid printed onto the surface.  Moores launched their Magnetic Sudoku shortly afterwards to considerable acclaim.

In that first year the Christmas season was such that demand was well in excess of production.

It has continued to be a success and has now been copied by many - but the advantages of the Moores version are still unique to us.
